FAQ
What happens if you are unwell on our wedding day?
Whilst this has never happened, I do have a plan in place. I should state that I would have to be seriously unwell to not attend; if I lost an arm, I would be searching the dark web for a replacement asap.
But, failing that, I have a team of photographers and videographers who I regularly work with and have a similar style to mine. I would arrange for one of the Trioh team to work on my behalf. Alternatively, If you found your own arrangements then you would of course be entitled to a full refund. (This will all be detailed in your booking agreement).
Where are you based?
My partner and I have a cosy little fisherman's cottage in Cornwall and we typically spend around half of the year on the road in our camper van, capturing weddings and exploring.
The rest of the Trioh Media gang are all based in the south west of England and we capture weddings all over the UK and Europe.
Do you take group photographs at weddings?
Sure thing! Even with my natural, relaxed style of photography, I'm happy to capture group shots if you'd like them. I recommend keeping the number to around 10 or less: say each one takes 3 minutes, that’s half an hour of your day But I'm happy to do more if you'd like.
Rob's top tip: having a list ready and an usher help gather people really speeds this up.
How do we book?
To secure your booking date; I'll send you an agreement to sign and an invoice for a small booking fee (usually £200). As soon as I receive the booking fee and signed agreement the date goes in my calendar and this secures your wedding date.
I will also send you a questionnaire around one month prior to your wedding. This helps me know exactly where to be at each point throughout the day and gives you a chance to let me know about any specific requirements or preferences.
Do you supply physical wedding albums or prints?
Absolutely! In fact, I highly recommend it. There’s just a certain magic with printed photos. I can always add an album or prints to your wedding package or you can simply order them yourself via your personalised wedding gallery at a later date. Easy peasy!
Can we print the photographs ourselves?
Yes, of course. Once you receive the link to your online gallery, you can download them in high resolution and print as many as you like!
I recommend using a quality printing service to give you the most accurate colour and detail. Alternatively you can order prints or albums directly from your online gallery! These are high quality prints at very reasonable prices and delivery is usually only a few days.
Can family and friends order prints from you?
They certainly can. Once you receive access to your online gallery, you can share your password protected link with them and they can order prints directly from there. They are of the highest quality and can be delivered directly to your door.
Who will own the copyright to our wedding images?
To put it simply, you will have a licence. This means you are free to print, store and share your photographs and/or videos as you see fit, but the full copyright is retained by the creator (Trioh Media). This just means that you can’t sell, modify, use to promote a business or enter the photographs in competitions. This is an industry standard for all wedding photographers and videographers.
How many photographs will we get?
This can vary depending on a few factors but I typically deliver anywhere from 300-800 images. I have listed approximate quantities for each package on the 'Pricing" section of my website.
How long will you stay for on the day?
As long as we need to capture the full story of your wedding day. There are no time limits to any of my wedding packages.
Do we need to feed you on the day?
I really appreciate it if you can. It’s a long day and some form of food and drink goes a long way. That said, I do stick to a plant-based/vegan diet, so if it’s not possible I fully understand and can always bring some sarnies.
Are you insured?
I sure am! Full public liability, professional indemnity and equipment coverage (let me know if you would like me to provide copies of these).
What happens if your camera fails on the day?
Whilst this has never happened, I do use the latest professional equipment and conduct regular checkups, I bring multiple cameras and a range of lenses and equipment just in case.
How long will we have to wait for our photographs/videography?
I aim to deliver within two to four weeks after the wedding day. Sometimes the wait time is shorter, sometimes its slightly longer but I will always try my best to complete your gallery as quickly as possible without compromising on quality.
